Trois Crayons

Trois Crayons was founded by Alesa Boyle, Tom Nevile and Sebastien Paraskevas with the aim of increasing the awareness, accessibility, and visibility of drawings in all their forms.

Trois Crayons offers a centralising space for all drawing-related activity worldwide, to facilitate and encourage engagement with the historic “father” of the arts. From in-person exhibitions and collaborative events to our monthly newsletter and social media activity, we connect the global drawings community.

Tracing Time - Private View

Trois Crayons presented Tracing Time, a selling exhibition dedicated to drawings and works on paper held at Frieze No.9 Cork Street this past summer from 26 June – 5 July 2025.

I had the great honour of capturing a set of 3 x videos for Webview and Socials - a Teaser, Private View and the Public Event. It was a brilliant evening all round.

Tracing Time - Public Event

Tracing Time is the second annual exhibition hosted by Trois Crayons, an innovative platform which aims to increase the awareness, accessibility and visibility of drawings in all their forms. The exhibition presented the finest drawings and masterpieces on paper from renowned galleries and dealers which span the 15th century until the present day. Tracing Time showcased works by artists such as Hans Rottenhammer, Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, J.M.W. Turner, Auguste Rodin, Gustav Klimt, Jean Cocteau and Françoise Gilot, and present rare-to-market works.

The consistent line out the door that evening and the buzz within the gallery was a true signal of the value and vibrancy of the set of works and its community.
